I think that if terrorists hadn't attacked on 9/11, then no one would be so worried about riding a plane or about what you can bring on a plane, and we might not be in war with Iraq. However, we might not be as drawn together as a country, and 9/11 would not be a historical day.

Hey Mr Lewis,

I think that if Terroist never attack the WTC America would be very different. First off I think that the Country wouldn't be as united as a whole, because when the tragety struck everyone changed. People were kinder to eachother after the terroist attack. Also I think the Iraqi war would not of happened. Families wouldn't've been as traumatized, such as when people died on 9/11 and when parents and siblings died in the war. Also I think the airport security would be lowered and it wouldn't matter if you brought gatorade or electronics on planes. Also the bombs in london and in Europe I don't think would have happened if 9/11 didn't occur. Thats what i think what it would be like if that tragic day never happened.

I think that the United States would be different today if the terrorists attack of 9/11 never happened by the security of the United States not being as strong or as serious as it is today. I think that the attack has made more people weary about bombs, and explosives. We might of also not have become as strong as a nation as we are now. It might have worn us down to where we were never this successful as a nation.
The whole attack I think has brought this nation closer together. It's made us stronger and a better nation. We work together better and we seem to be more serious in our security and our well being.

If the attack on 9/11 never happened, there would be no war in Iraq right now. The government would be spending that money on other things rather than the war. Most people wouldn't be worried about if planes were going to get hijacked or not. We wouldn't have to be searched at the Royals games. The U.S.A. would have lower security standerds in the airports and at public events. Our country has become more specialized in security to protect all the people of the United States from getting hurt from the terrorists. We are a more united country after 9/11.

I believe that America would take much of it's saftey for granted. You see people's true emotions in the time of crisis. We saw it during Hurricane Katrina when we had a WAVE of people trying to help in some way. It wasn't any different back then. After 9/11, all American flags were sold out... Doesn't that say something about American resiliency? Or it's patriotism? And the new motto is true. We will never forget.

I think that if the terrorist hadn't attacked that everyone might not be so worried about planes or the people that fight in afganistain. But if this hadn't of happened we proble wouldn't be so supportive of each other and this brought us together and made the usa more secure!

I think that if terrorists had not attacked it wouln't take as long to get on a plane. It used to be very easy to get on a plane. Now the securtity has gone up so it is more difficult and it takes longer to get on. I mean they won't even let you have finger nail clippers on a plane! Also, the war in iraq would probably not be going on right now so thousands of fighters wouldn't have died. But, if the terrorists hadn't attacked we would not have been as aware to what is going on around the world as we are now.

If the terrorst didn't crash into the world trat center this war in iraq wouldn't be going on. But I belive that Presidint bush made the right choice to fight iraq because, if we didn't fight back they very well could of crashed many more planes and killed many more people. but now it is something that no one will ever forget, and the lives that were lost.

I think the United States would be different today if 9-11 did not happen because we wouldn't be as united as a country. I think this because if the attack did not occur, we would most likely be weak in the areas we are now strong. Also, if the terroists did not hi-jack the plane, we would still be able to witness the beauty of the World Trade Center. In addition to that, we would sill most likely have the lives that we lost. This should be important to everyone because innocent people lost their lives. Another reson the U.S. would be different because there would be no war going on in Iraq and no one would have to risk their own lives to protect their country, even if they wanted to.- Paige P.

I think if the terrorists attacks on 9\11 never happend then our world would be different. We would still think that no one would be able to attack us at home and we wouldn't be as safe. We also wouldn't take other terrorists threats more seriously. Finally, traveling in our country and around the world be eaiser and quicker. All in all those are just some reasons our world would be different if there was no terrorists attacks on 9\11.

I think that the United States would be different today if the terroists attacks on 9/11 didn't occur. One way it would be different is there would not be as much security at airports. They will now only let you have up to 2 oz. of liquid and they make you take off your shoes to go through the metal detector. Secondly, parks and stadiums wouldn't be as secure about what you have with you. Finally, we wouldn't be prejudiced about the middle eastern people.

I think that if terrorists hadn't attacked the World Trade Center then we wouldn't be at war with Iraq. We would not have to be spending all of the govenment's money for the war. I also think that we wouldn't be as protective as we are now if 9/11 never happened. Other countries wouldn't think they could come over here and do whatever they want. We would'nt be as worried about how we travel.

I think that alot of things would be different if the terrorist would have never attacked on 9/11. One thing that I think would be different is that the airport security wouldn't be as bad. On the other side if we didn't have the security then even worse things than the 9/11 attack could happen. We did and still are losing alot of soliders because we are over in Iraq fighting! That is what I think about the 9/11 attack.

If 9/11 never happened so many people would have another family in their house right now. Also, we would never be in this war as long as we have been. Maybe, not even a war at all!!! Are troops would be home safe.

hey mr.lewis i know im a little late but im still going to do it anyway. i think the terrorists that invaded us at 9/11 opened our eyes to what other countries can accomplish. and we are now aware of what can happen. it has given us a chance to be prepared and ready for the next time they may attack. if they didnt hit us at 9/11 we would still be very unaware of what could happen to us in our country.

I think I f 9/11 never happened that we would not have our troops over in Iraq. I also think that so many other familys would have another family member living. So many houses are missing a loved one. Last, People would not be as afarid to go one planes.

Sorry I'm a bit late on posting this, I just haven't had much time.

I think that if the attacks of 9/11had never happened, then our country wouldn't be as aware of the stuff that we are of now. Also, we might not even be over in Iraq, fighting in a war. But on the other hand, we would not be as aware of what the terrorists could accomplish, and do to our country...they could come through an airplane, just like they did on 9/11, and the security probably wouldn't be as advanced as it is now..because we now know more about what other countries and people can accomplish.

That is what I think it would be like if the attacks on 9/11 had never happened.

hey mr. lewis

I think if this never happened the 9/11 people would not be scared to ride a plane or be so high up.Another think if this never happened we would still have many tall buildings since then u dont so buildings as tall as the twin towers were. Also if this never happened people wouldnt really no what to do if a plane really did crash so therefore the places where we were weak no we are not stonger a smarter. Another thing is that if this never happened people would still have some trust in to pilots. And no planes use locks on the door and check you for weapons before you aboard the plane.

I think it would be differnt because we wouldnt have gone to war with the Iranians. We would not have tightened our surcuraty at the airports and other places. We would be alought less careless about things, like our troops that we lose every day. I think america would get disconected on differnt things.

Mr. Lewis

Since 9/11 happened, the country has become new. Right after the attacks, people were terrified by this horrific act of terrorism. Ever since 9/11, we have become one, one nation, one whose future belong not in the hands of terrorism, but liberty and freedom. Since now we have elected a new president, I hope the nation will stand up on for our democracy, and be standing on our own two feet, free among the other countries staying awake at night, worrying about their father, wondering if they'll ever see him again, fighting such terrorist oraganizations, such as Al Qaeda. I hope survival to all those who serve this great country, and those who die to help us be the greastest nation on the planet.
